Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has moved out on this own with 22 goals after his latest strike against Newcastle with teammate Sadio Mane two behind him on 20 - along with Man City striker Sergio Aguero and Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
That means Salah will win the Golden Boot for a second successive season as long as he matches his main rivals on Sunday.
As for those below 20 goals, Leicester's Jamie Vardy has mounted a late charge with 18 to his name, while Man City's Raheem Sterling is on 17 - along with the injured Kane.
Chelsea's Eden Hazard on 16, and Bournemouth's Callum Wilson on 14. Arsenal's Alexandre Lacazette and Paul Pogba have both netted 13, along with Everton duo Gylfi Sigurdsson and Richarlison and Wolves' Raul Jimenez.
Romelu Lukaku, Roberto Firmino, Heung-min Son, Glenn Murray and Luka Milivojevic all sit on 12 - one ahead of Joshua King, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Ashley Barnes and Ayoze Perez.
