Premier League top four race: Arsenal, Man Utd, Tottenham, Chelsea - who will miss out on Champions League?

The hunt for the Champions League places is on in the Premier League, with everything left to play for after the international break.

Manchester City and Liverpool look to have the top two places sewn up between them as their title race goes to the wire, but for the other four members of the ‘Big Six’, nothing is decided yet.

Tottenham seemed set for (at least) third place up until a few weeks ago, but have taken just one point from their last four games to be dragged back into the scrap.

They’re now just a point clear of north London rivals Arsenal – a gap that was 10 points less than a month ago.

The Gunners moved back into the top four with victory over fifth-placed Manchester United before the international break, but the fact that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men are even in the conversation is remarkable, given the position they were in when the Norwegian took over from Jose Mourinho.

Chelsea cannot be ruled out either, but the Blues remain sixth after picking up just one point in their last two games - a 1-1 draw with Wolves, and a 2-0 defeat at Everton.

With the Champions League and Europa League quarter-finals draws having been made, all top six sides now know who they will potentially face all the way to the finals.
