The fourth round of Premier League matches takes place this weekend.
Manchester United kicked off the action by beating Southampton in the Saturday lunchtime kick-off, with Bruno Fernandes’ goal enough to earn a hard-fought win which gives new manager Erik ten Hag back-to-back victory. Liverpool hammered Bournemouth in the 3pm kick-offs, racking up a huge 9-0 win as Chelsea edged Leicster and Erling Haaland’s hat-trick secured Manchester City a comeback win over Crystal Palace.
The only team to enter the weekend with a perfect record, Arsenal, maintained that as they came from behind to beat Fulham in the evening game. On Sunday, it is the turn of Tottenham with a trip to Nottingham Forest headlining a trio of games. Earlier, Wolves host Newcastle and two teams facing difficult questions on their early form, Aston Villa and West Ham, meet in the Midlands.
