The traditional bumper Boxing Day bonanza in the Premier League is upon us as the season reaches its halfway mark - and Liverpool are in a league of their own.
With Liverpool travelling to second-placed Leicester City 10 points ahead with a game in hand, goals from Roberto Firmino (two), James Milner and Trent Alexander-Arnold handed them a 4-0 win to send Jurgen klopp's Reds 13 points clear.
The first of nine games was in north London as Tottenham came from behind to beat Brighton 2-1, avenging their humbling loss on the south coast earlier in the season.
Chelsea were stunned by Southampton, a fifth defeat in six for Frank Lampard. On the south coast, Mikel Arteta starts his job at Arsenal with a draw at Bournemouth while Carlo Ancelotti won his first game in charge of Everton, over Burnley.
Later in the day, Manchester United thumped Newcastle 4-1 after going a goal down before Wolves rounded off the gameweek in stunning fashion, coming from two goals behind to beat Manchester City - and possibly hand the title to Liverpool.
