Manchester City had Vincent Kompany to thank as a dramatic winner from the club captain saw the Premier League champions beat Leicester City to retake top spot in the table from Liverpool.
Little seemed on when the ball was played to Kompany well outside the box with 20 minutes left to play but the captain took a couple of touches before firing a tremendous strike into the top corner of the net.
That result means Man City will win the title if they match Liverpool's result on the final day of the season - City head to Brighton, while Liverpool host Wolves.
As for Liverpool, they ensured that the title race would definitely go to the last day with a dramatic win at Newcastle United.
Meanwhile, Chelsea secured Champions League football with a 3-0 victory over Watford as their fellow top-four rivals Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United all slipped up.
