Liverpool have ensured that the Premier League title race will go to the last day of the 2018-19 season following a dramatic win at Newcastle United.
On the penultimate weekend of the season, Liverpool left it late to seal a 3-2 win at St James' Park to go top of the table with one game to go - although Manchester City have a game in hand.
Man City are two points behind Liverpool, and will retake top spot if they beat Leicester City at home tonight - but regardless of that result, the title will be decided on Sunday, May 12 - the final day of the season.
Chelsea secured Champions League football with a 3-0 victory over Watford as their fellow top-four rivals Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United all slipped up.
Nine-man Spurs missed the chance to secure a Champions League spot after Nathan Ake's injury-time winner gave Bournemouth a 1-0 victory at the Vitality Stadium in Saturday's early kick-off.
Man Utd will play in the Europa League next season after drawing 1-1 at rock-bottom Huddersfield Town to ensure a disappointing end to the campaign for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Arsenal, meanwhile, must win the Europa League to gain a Champions League spot after Sunday's draw with Brighton killed their hopes of finishing in the top four (barring an improbable eight-goal swing).
Everton kicked off the weekend's action with a home victory over Burnley, while Cardiff were relegated as a 3-2 home defeat to Crystal Palace ensured their fate.
