Premier League striker turns down Nottingham Forest move - report

Everton striker Oumar Niasse has reportedly turned down a move to Nottingham Forest.

boss Sabri Lamouchi is looking to bolster his attacking options during the January transfer window.

According to Football Insider, Everton accepted a loan bid from Forest for Niasse.

But the report claims the 29-year-old front man was "unwilling to make the move".

It is said that Niasse does not want to drop down a division.

The Senegal international made only his second senior appearance of the season yesterday (Saturday), coming off the bench in Everton's 1-1 draw with West Ham United.

He has previously had loan spells with Hull and Cardiff City, though both clubs were in the Premier League at the time.

Niasse joined Everton from Lokomotiv Moscow for a reported fee of £16million in January 2016.

He has made 41 appearances for the club since then, scoring eight goals.
