Everton striker Youssef Chermiti is on Rangers' radar while Cyriel Dessers and Hamza Igamane could yet depart.
The Portuguese forward, 21, was signed from Sporting Lisbon for an initial fee of €12.5 million in 2023 but only made four substitute Premier League appearances last season.
He was signed when Rangers sporting director Kevin Thelwell and and technical director Dan Purdy were still there and Rangers Review has reported he is now an option at Ibrox.
He is contracted to the Premier League side until 2027 and a loan would seem the most likely avenue.
Former Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski is high on Rangers' agenda as he looks set to be frozen out by Girona, but Chermiti is an alternative option.

Back when Everton signed him, Thelwell said: “The two strikers we signed. We wanted to find one for the here and now [Beto] and one for the future and we feel we have got that in Beto and Youssef Chermiti.
“Youssef is not the finished article yet - and we shouldn’t expect that of a 19-year-old - but we believe he can help us right now. More importantly, he has all the attributes to develop into an Everton number nine.”
Meanwhile, Cyriel Dessers and Hamza Igamane could both yet move on. Rangers rejected an offer from AEK Athens for Dessers earlier in the window but interest remains.
The same can be said for Igamane after a loan bid from Lille was also knocked back.
