Premier League striker linked with Nottingham Forest move as Man City man nears exit

There's little over a week to go until the January transfer window opens, and we're expecting a busy month at Nottingham Forest.

With the Reds in the thick of the Championship play-off hunt, manager Sabri Lamouchi is likely to want to bolster his squad, with a striker top of his shopping list.

MURIC ON HIS WAY?

On-loan Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Arijanet Muric could see his time at the City Ground brought to an end next month.

According to The Athletic, “new options are being explored from January onwards” for the 21-year-old from Manchester City, who lost his place in the team to Brice Samba earlier in the season.

Muric started the campaign between the posts and played the first four league games,  before being relegated to the bench  by head coach Sabri Lamouchi.

STRIKERS LINKED

Southampton striker Che Adams is on  Nottingham Forest ’s list of possible January recruits, according to reports.

The former Birmingham City frontman has struggled to force his way into Ralf Hasenhuttl’s struggling Saints side this term following his £15m move to the south coast in the summer and could therefore seek regular football in the New Year.

REDS KEEN ON ARSENAL MAN?

Nottingham Forest have been linked with a move for Arsenal defender Konstantinos Mavropanos.

The 22-year-old has struggled for game time since making the move to the Gunners from Ioannina, in his homeland of Greece, almost two years ago.

He has already been linked to Olympiacos, who, like the Reds, are owned by businessman Evangelos Marinakis.

And now reports in Greece claim moving to the City Ground on loan could be an option for the centre-back.
