A host of Premier League stars are investing in guard dogs after Dele Alli had his house burgled.
The Tottenham star was held at knife-point and had £350,000 worth of watches stolen.
It has led to top-flight players buying guard dogs from security firms as a precation.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is one of those and has posted pictures online - as did Manchester United teammate Jesse Lingard - of dogs from Leicestershire’s Chaperone K9.
Its breeds, which are predominantly German and Belgian Shepherds, sell for £15,000.
Paul Pogba, Alli's team-mate Hugo Lloris and rap star Stormzy are also customers of Chaperone K9.
“All players are worried by this. Who wants to get robbed at home? It’s awful whoever you are," a source with knowledge of the situation told The Sun.
“The players talk to each other directly or through little cliques.
“They get a lot of attention when out, and their home is a place to chill.
"But people are now breaking in and thinking 'This (coronavirus lockdown) is a good time to get him because of what he has got there'.”
Meanwhile, Harry Kane has said he has reached out to Tottenham team-mate Alli.
"I text him the day after it happened just to see how he was," he told Sky Sports.
"As normal I think he was a bit in shock and a bit angry about the situation but thankfully no one has hurt, no family was hurt, during the process, which is the main thing really.
"I think he's Okay, a little bit shaken up, but I guess he's getting on with it."
