Worrall latest
Hopes of Joe Worrall remaining a Nottingham Forest player beyond the summer transfer window have seemingly received a boost.
Like fellow academy graduate, Matty Cash, Worrall has been the subject of interest this summer, with it now being reported by the Sun that Burnley are not prepared to pay any more than £4m to secure the 23-year-old’s services.
Forest, it’s understood, are only willing to allow the Hucknall-born defender to leave if any potential suitor comes up with at least £10m, and the Clarets current valuation is well below that.
Previously, the Reds were linked with wantaway Turf Moor defender Ben Gibson, with a suggestion Sean Dyche would include Gibson as part of that deal - he appears to be nearing a return to Middlesbrough.
Striker linked
Nottingham Forest have reignited their interest in Birmingham City striker Lukas Jutkiewicz.
That’s according to the Sunday People, who believe Sabri Lamouchi is about to test the Blues’ resolve for the experienced frontman in a bid to bring him to the City Ground as part of his big summer recruitment drive.
Jutkiewicz, who arrived at St Andrew’s from Burnley in 2016, netted a respectable 15 goals last term, and was a January target for Lamouchi.
Birmingham rebuffed Forest’s interest during the winter window, but after the Frenchman clinched the signing of another January target, Luke Freeman, he will remain hopeful of achieving a similar result with the 31-year-old, now managed by ex-Reds boss Aitor Karanka.

Departure looms
Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon is said to be on the verge of a move to Turkey.
The 33-year-old has not been part of the first-team set-up at the City Ground under Sabri Lamouchi and spent the second half of last season on loan at Omonia Nicosia, in Cyprus.
Turkish website Fanatik say he has now “shook hands” on a deal with Denizlispor and will sign a one-year contract with the club.
Pantilimon joined the Reds in January 2018, initially on loan, before signing permanently that summer.
On the way?
Attacking midfielder David Tavares was left out of Benfica’s squad for their friendly against Bournemouth, amid reports a move to Nottingham Forest is close.
The 21-year-old is said to be set to join the Reds initially on loan, with a view to a permanent deal if he is a success on Trentside.
And he was not involved at the Estadio da Luz as Benfica took on Forest’s Championship rivals in a pre-season match on Sunday evening.
