Premier League side reportedly identify Sabri Lamouchi as 'top target' as manager speculation continues

Sabri Lamouchi will reportedly become a ‘top target’ for Wolverhampton Wanderers if Nuno Espirito Santo leaves the club.

Nuno has taken Wolves from the Championship to the Europa League knockout stages in less than three seasons in charge.

That work has not gone unnoticed, and his name is being mentioned with more regularity in connection with the vacant Arsenal job, following Unai Emery’s sacking.

The Sun on Sunday are now reporting that Lamouchi will be the man Wolves would look to should their Portuguese boss leave.

Former Rennes boss Lamouchi joined Nottingham Forest in the summer as a relative unknown, but has guided the Reds into genuine promotion contenders this season.

They sit fourth in the table after 18 games although their four-game unbeaten run came to an end against Cardiff City on Saturday.

The report from the Sun on Sunday suggests Lamouchi ‘is being tracked by several Premier League admirers’.
