Premier League side eyeing up 'double swoop' for Nottingham Forest stars - report

West Ham United are keen on a “double swoop” for Nottingham Forest duo Matty Cash and Joe Worrall, according to a report.

The pair have been key figures this season under Sabri Lamouchi, playing a vital part in the Reds’ push for promotion.

And their impressive performances haven’t gone unnoticed.

Both have been on the radar of Premier League clubs previously, while Cash also caught the eye of Italian giants AC Milan in January.

The Hammers, too, were keen on the right-back in the winter transfer window - and the Daily Mirror claim that interest has not subsided, with Worrall now also a target.

The report states: “David Moyes plans more British signings at West Ham and is keen on a double swoop for Matty Cash and Joe Worrall at Nottingham Forest.”

Boss Moyes is said to be “busy planning” for the summer transfer window and having been interested in Cash in January now “wants defender Worrall too”.

The Nigel Doughty Academy duo have both recently penned new long-term contracts at the City Ground.

After a loan spell at Rangers last season, Worrall has been an almost ever-present this term, making 39 appearances so far.

Cash has excelled in his new right-back position and has also featured 39 times, scoring three goals.
