Premier League season ticket holders to be offered free Now TV passes to watch at home

Season ticket holders at every Premier League club will be offered some consolation at missing their team's matches, as they can claim free Now TV passes to watch the action at home.

With top-flight fixtures due to be behind closed doors for at least the remainder of the season, faithful match-going supporters will instead have to get their football fix through other means.

Every fixture is due to be televised on one of four broadcasters, but Sky Sports have taken the lions share of the games, with 64 being screened on their channels.

As part of Sky's ongoing partnership, the Now TV vouchers will provide access to any of the fixtures the viewer chooses.

The Now TV passes will offer free 24-hour access to fans on any particular day, with each season ticket holder able to claim for two passes.

Each pass would normally cost £9.99, but of course those who are already regular Sky Sports subscribers will sadly not benefit from the deal.

Fixtures resume on Sky from Wednesday, with a double header starting with Aston Villa vs Sheffield Utd followed by Arsenal against Man City.

Friday then hosts a blockbuster fixture as Tottenham welcome Man Utd, while Liverpool could win the title at Everton live on Sky on Sunday, if results go their way.

Sky Sports are offering new interactive features for fans (xxxxxxx)

Fans that do tune in to Sky will also be treated with a new look product.

Due to the lack of crowds present at matches, Sky are offering new features to viewers, including the optional addition of crowd chants.

Those who opt to use the feature can 'Choose a Chant'  by selecting songs to be played while the match is going on.

Even specific team and player related chants will be available for fans to pick from.

Not only that, but fans can also arrange to watch the match with their friends at home via video link under the Fanzone feature.

Football in the modern day, eh.
