Premier League's most valuable players revealed after in-depth market study

It's hard to know exactly how much every team's star player is worth when the club has no intention on cashing in.

That's where the CIES Football Observatory ride to the rescue as they offer a true valuation of every side's main man - just in case the bean counters in boardrooms wanted to know!

They rate the player against the current market and financial climate and come out with their true worth as they make public the outcome of their latest study.

But one big name in contention for the PFA Player of the Year award is nowhere to be seen.

Mohamed Salah is still Liverpool's most valuable player, worth £160million they say.

Harry Kane breaks silence after suffering ankle injury in Man City win

The Egyptian is in ahead of Virgil van Dijk, widely regarded as the club's stand-out performer this term.

But top of the pile is Harry Kane - despite the England striker suffering a big injury set-back in the Champions League quarter-final first leg with Manchester City.

Kane's actual value is £171m, the stats men at Football Observatory say - with City's Raheem Sterling coming in second at a cool £161m.

Raheem Sterling's PFA Player of the Year vote revealed

Real Madrid are only willing to pay £85m to land Eden Hazard according to reports.

Chelsea may want to thrust these findings under the noses of Bernabeu bosses. His real value is nearer £105m.

Arsenal have already made a profit on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and so have Everton with their buy from Watford, Richarlison.

West Ham will be happy to hear Declan Rice is already worth £60m while Fulham could be tempted to part with Aleksandar Mitrović.

He is still worth £43m despite the Cottagers relegation back to the Championship.
