Premier League rumours: Manchester United eye Jadon Sancho alternative, Leeds keep tabs on striker

With just three weeks left in the transfer window, time is running out for Premier League clubs to complete their business.

Whilst Chelsea have spent big in the window, some clubs are keeping their cards close to their chest and are yet to bring in any major signings.

With that in mind, here are the latest Premier League transfer rumours.

Man United eye Bale

The BBC report that Manchester United are eyeing up potential moves for Gareth Bale and Ivan Perisic as Jadon Sancho alternatives.

Borussia Dortmund are said to be increasingly confident of keeping the young England star, despite him remaining United’s top transfer target this window.

The Bundesliga club have an asking price of £100m for Sancho and United do not feel a deal is possible at that valuation.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains keen for another wide player and have looked at Bale and Perisic as potential short-term solutions.

Gunners linked with Martinez replacement

The Daily Mail report that Arsenal have enquired about Dijon goalkeeper Runar Alex Runarsson.

With Emiliano Martinez heading to Aston Villa, the Gunners are keen on a new back-up keeper and have identified the Icelandic 25-year-old as a potential option.

Brentford’s David Raya has also been linked with the Emirates.

Leeds monitor Gaich

El Intransigente report that Leeds United are continuing to monitor Argentina international Adolfo Gaich.

The centre-forward moved to CSKA Moscow from San Lorenzo earlier this summer but Marcelo Bielsa is said to remain keen on his compatriot.

Gaich, 21, has a release clause of around £27m.
