There is plenty of business still to be done in the summer transfer window.
With just a week left until it shuts, clubs face a race against time to get prospective deals over the line in order to strengthen their squads.
With that in mind, here is the latest Premier League transfer gossip.
Man United in Sarr enquiry
The Daily Telegraph report that Manchester United have enquired about Ismaila Sarr’s availability at Watford.
With time running out until transfer deadline day, United have lined Sarr up as a cheaper alternative to Jadon Sancho after Liverpool ruled themselves out of the running for the Watford star.
Liverpool were keen on Sarr after his impressive performance against them for Watford back in February.
Yet they balked at Watford’s £40m asking price - which has freed Sarr up for a potential move to Old Trafford.
Leeds weigh up James move
The MEN report that Leeds United are weighing up a potential move for Daniel James.
Leeds managing director Angus Kinnear was in attendance at Manchester United’s Carabao Cup win over Luton, where James was an unused substitute.
The Whites are keen to add a winger to their squad before deadline day and, with Manchester United looking to strengthen their own flanks, James could become available.
Wales international James is said to be keen to remain at Old Trafford and fight for his place.
PSG want Alli loan
Sky Sports report that PSG are only interested in a loan for Dele Alli in this transfer window.
Alli is out of favour at Tottenham Hotspur, having struggled for form despite a brief renaissance at the start of Jose Mourinho’s reign as manager.
Spurs are said to be open to letting Alli leave but PSG are not interested in a permanent deal.
Instead, a loan with an option to buy could well be a move that suits both parties.
