Premier League rumours: Liverpool and Man United dealt Sancho blow, Spurs linked with shock move

The Premier League is now a few days away from returning to our television screens for the first time since March.

Since then, the transfer rumours have been a major source of sports news, with teams still aiming to improve their squad for next season.

However, due to the coronavirus outbreak, clubs’ finances may be heavily impacted and this could be one of the quietest windows in terms of money spent, but teams are still aiming to find any bargains from across Europe.

Deloitte predicts Premier League clubs will lose £1bn revenue this season

With that in mind, here are the best Premier League transfer rumours from today.

United to make room for van de Beek

Manchester United are set to sell Andreas Pereira in order to fund a move for Ajax star Donny van de Beek.

That's according to the Daily Star , who say Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is willing to sell Pereira as he looks to raise around £44m for van de Beek.

United do, of course, have money to spend this summer but with eyes on the likes of Jack Grealish and Jadon Sancho, they may need to increase their spending pot to include van de Beek, who has also been targeted by Real Madrid.

Dortmund chief issues worrying news for United and Liverpool

Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho has been linked with Liverpool in recent days.

The England international is already being targeted by United, and now Liverpool are expected to join the race.

But both clubs have been dealt a blow.

When asked about Liverpool's interest, Dortmund squad manager Sebastian Kehl told Sky Sports : "There is nothing to it. We'd like to think that he will continue to play for us next season."

Ramsey linked with shock Spurs move

Former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has been linked with a shock move to Tottenham.

According to The Sun , Italian giants Juventus are facing financial issues due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and that could give Spurs the chance to sign the Welsh midfielder.

Ramsey is on around £400,000-per-week in Turin and the report suggests Tottenham could take him on loan, providing his wages could be split with Juventus.
