Saturday was certainly not short on drama, with eight top-flight fixtures providing plenty of talking points.
Tottenham held on to win Jose Mourinho's first game in charge at West Ham, while Manchester City saw off Chelsea in the day's high-profile late kick-off.
In between, Arsenal somehow salvaged a draw at home to lowly Southampton, title favourites Liverpool edged Crystal Palace and Leicester continued their fine run at Brighton.
Everton were also stunned at home by Norwich, Wolves overcame 10-man Bournemouth and Watford's plight deepened with a heavy home defeat to Burnley.
