Newcastle United have been backed to win the fight to stay in the Premier League next season - but only just.
Bookmaker Grosvenor Casino has released their odds for the coming season following the release of the 2021-22 Premier League fixtures, and United just scrape into the sides expected to be safe.
Newcastle have a potentially favourable start to the season, facing West Ham at St James' Park on the opening day before travelling to Aston Villa.

However, the final four games of the season see them face Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Burnley, in what could be a tough run should Steve Bruce's side need points.
The three newly-promoted sides are all favourites to be relegated, with Norwich at 9/10, Watford on evens and Brentford priced at 11/10 for the drop.
Newcastle and Crystal Palace are both 9/4, while Burnley are 5/2 and Southampton 9/2.
Brentford famously knocked Newcastle out of the Carabao Cup at the quarter-final stage last season, and Bruce knows he needs to improve United's record against the lower-ranked sides.
Newcastle failed to do the double over any of this season's relegated sides - West Brom. Fulham and Sheffield United - while lost 3-0 to Brighton in both games.
At the other end, Manchester City are favourites to hold on to their Premier League crown, while you can get odds of 66/1 for Newcastle to clinch a top-four place.
