Premier League predictions: Robbie Savage gives verdict on Man Utd vs Chelsea

Manchester United will suffer a further blow in the race to finish fourth in the Premier League with a defeat to Chelsea on Sunday.

That's the prediction from Mirror Football columnist Robbie Savage, who believes United will slip up again at home to the Blues.

The Red Devils have lost seven of their last nine in all competitions and Savage can see another defeat for his old side when they host Chelsea on Sunday.

Savage also predicts a defeat for Arsenal who head for Leicester on Sunday having lost their last two matches to Wolves and Crystal Palace respectively.

Our man Sav also reckons Manchester City and Liverpool will maintain their relentless title challenges with more wins this weekend.

The Reds welcome rock-bottom Huddersfield in the first game of the weekend on Friday, while City make the short trip to Burnley on Sunday.

There looks to be a crunch clash in the race for seventh when Watford host Wolves, with Savage tipping the latter to gain what would be a crucial win.

Our Welsh columnist also sees Cardiff collecting a vital victory on their trip to Fulham , while he believes relegation-threatened Brighton will lose out at home to Newcastle .

Savage sees West Ham becoming the first away team to score at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, but does not feel that will be enough to stop Spurs from maintaining their 100 per cent record at their new home.

There will also be a win for Southampton at home to Bournemouth , while Crystal Palace and Everton will play out a thrilling draw if Sav's predictions prove to be true.
