Premier League gossip: Manchester United's Jadon Sancho blow, Chelsea agree Kai Havertz deal

The Premier League transfer market is hotting up.

Whilst there have not been that many deals completed yet this summer, there is plenty of gossip as clubs look to seal signings before next season gets under way.

Leeds United will no doubt be keeping an eye on the business that opposition clubs are completing as they return to the Premier League.

With that in mind, here is all the latest Premier League transfer gossip.

Manchester United’s Sancho blow

Borussia Dortmund have named Jadon Sancho in their squad for a training camp in Switzerland later this week.

Monday marked the deadline Dortmund imposed for United to agree any deal to sign the England attacker.

The Bundesliga side are keen for their players to focus on next season and imposed a deadline in order to get their business done before their preparations got under way.

It could well strengthen their resolve to keep Sancho, with reports over the last week claiming they would offer him a new contract.

Also in the 31-man squad is another former United target - Jude Bellingham, who moved to Dortmund from Birmingham City this summer.

Havertz agrees five-year deal

RMC Sport claim Chelsea have agreed a five-year contract with Kai Havertz.

Bayer Leverkusen have been adamant that they will not agree any transfer for Havertz whilst they remain in the Europa League, but the Blues currently lead the race for the attacking midfielder.

He is now reported to have agreed personal terms at Stamford Bridge ahead of a proposed transfer, which is likely to take place later this month.

Liverpool told Carlos asking price

Sevilla have told Liverpool that the Anfield club must pay £68m if they want to buy defender Diego Carlos.

The Brazilian has attracted major interest from across Europe in recent months and Jurgen Klopp’s side were linked with a move for him in January.

Spanish publication Sport reported the Reds believed the 27-year-old would be Virgil van Dijk's new central defensive partner.

The Daily Star has now highlighted reports from AS that the player is aware of the interest in him, while Sevilla will also lower their valuation in a bid to attract offers.
