Premier League confirms four positive coronavirus cases in latest tests

The Premier League has confirmed four positive coronavirus cases from 1,446 players and staff tested last week.

The players or staff who have tested positive will now self-isolate for 10 days, with the latest results relating to tests carried out between Monday, October 26 and Sunday, November 1.

The Premier League confirmed the latest test results on Monday night, but is not naming the clubs or individuals involved.

Elite sport will continue in the UK despite a second lockdown starting on Thursday, November 5.
