Nottingham Forest fans were right to be worried about their lack of depth a right-back during the summer.
The Reds failed to capture Sam Byram from West Ham United and were dealt a major blow when Tendayi Darikwa was sidelined with a serious knee injury shortly before the season began.
So, up steps Matty Cash.
The 22-year-old midfielder, turned makeshift full-back, has been receiving plenty of praise so far this term for his performances and it has not gone unnoticed amongst the national media.
And now The Times' chief football writer Henry Winter has given his thoughts Sabri Lamouchi's star.
Winter was at Ashton Gate on Saturday to watch Sabri Lamouchi's side take on Bristol City and could not resist taking to social media to heap praise on the youngster.

"Cash, especially [during the] first half, looks Premier League class," tweeted Winter.
"[His] defending and attacking, good passing, quick to move into midfield."
He continued: "Forest fans never stopped singing.
"[Ryan] Yates deservedly [sent] off for two-footed foul on Nagy, but against 10 or 11, Bristol City were disappointing."
