As the festive season approaches, Premier Inn has launched a dream job for all Christmas-lovers out there - a Christmas Market Tester, and there are five roles up for grabs.
Lucky applicants who get chosen for the roles will be tasked with testing out Christmas markets in locations in the UK, Ireland and Germany, with Premier Inn contributing towards travel costs, and providing chosen testers (and a friend) with some spending money to spend on stalls of their choosing.
Winners will also get a free stay, including breakfast, in a Premier Inn hotel close to the market they are visiting.
“Here at Premier Inn, we love all things Christmas – and visiting a Christmas market is the perfect way to visit a new city, which is why we want to send five Christmas fans to some of the UK and Europe’s best festive spots to report back, safe in the knowledge they can rest easy with us after a busy day exploring the stalls," explained Simon Ewins, Managing Director at Premier Inn.
“Christmas markets have gone from strength to strength in recent years and so we know our official Christmas Market Tester role will be a dream job for many, with the opportunity to explore markets in the UK, Dublin and Germany all on offer.”
Each of the five successful applicants will need to report back once they’ve visited the market, sharing their experience of their chosen market, and having taken photos of the lights, stalls and decorations - all of which will be used in a report by Premier Inn on the best locations for visiting Christmas markets.
To be in with a chance of being chosen you will need to be able to tell Premier Inn about your last visit to a Christmas market and what you enjoyed about it most (max. 250 words), as well as choosing your top two options to visit from either London, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Dublin or Frankfurt.
