Premier Inn is offering free breakfasts to veterans on Remembrance Day

Premier Inn is offering free breakfasts to uniformed military personnel and veterans staying at its hotels ahead of Remembrance Day .

The hotel chain will be giving out the free meals to veterans who are staying in any of its 800 hotels on Saturday 9th November, ahead of the commemoration.

To redeem the offer, personnel must simple be identifiable to breakfast hosts by wearing their uniforms - or in the case of veterans, their medals.

It's not the only deal on offer for military personnel.

The hotel chain's owner Whitbread has collaborated with Blue Light Card to offer a 25 per cent discount for those who work for the Armed Forces on its restaurants.

That includes brands such as Beefeater, Brewers Fayre, Table Table, and Cookhouse and Pub.

The 25 per cent discount will be valid on food ordered from the main restaurant menu.

You can sign up on the Blue Light Card website . To redeem the discount, all you need to do is present your membership card to the server prior to ordering and requesting the bill.

It's not just military personnel who can use the Blue Light Card - the offer also extends to doctors, nurses, police, St John Ambulance, mountain rescue and fire service personnel.

"We are also thrilled to reveal our new partnership with Blue Light Card – meaning those in the Armed Forces, alongside a host of other people who dedicate their lives to helping others, can tuck into a hearty discount at selected restaurants’ up and down the country all year round."
