Privy council president Prem votes in Dusit district

Gen Prem Tinsulanonda, the Privy Council president and statesman, voted in advance of the March 24 election at a polling station at Sukhothai School in Dusit district on Sunday morning.

The former prime minister arrived at the school in a wheelchair at 9.56am before casting his vote at a polling booth.

Asked by reporters about his health, Gen Prem replied: "I am still fine."

As at other polling stations in Bangkok, a large number of advance voters turned up at the school in Dusit district early on Sunday to vote.
