A pregnant woman was forced to flee after masked men "smashed the windows" of a house in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim.
The incident happened at a property on Salia Avenue at around 9.40pm.
Four people were in the house at the time, including a pregnant lady, Belfast Live reports.
One of the residents claimed that she is now "afraid to return" to her house.
The 23-year-old told Belfast Live: "I do not know why I am being targeted and now I am homeless because I can't go back there I'm that scared.
"I was in bed last night and was woken up to masked men smashing my windows. It was the scariest moment of my life and I am still so shaken by it.
"Me and my pregnant friend had to climb out of my window and hide in a neighbour's garden in just our socks in the pouring rain until the Police came."
Police are currently working to establish a motive for the attack.
Inspector Colin Ash said: "We received a report that at approximately 9.40 pm a number of masked men smashed the windows at a house in the Salia Avenue area of Carrickfergus.

"There were four people in the property at the time of the incident and no injuries were reported.
"Enquiries are continuing and we are working to establish a motive for the attack.
"We are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1984 of 31/08/19."
