A pregnant mum was left stunned after a stranger at a bus stop told her she is 'unfit to be a parent'.
The woman was waiting for a bus to get to her midwife appointment when she was approached by a random person who insulted her.
The woman said she was standing eating a packet of crisps because she had missed breakfast due to feeding her daughter, reports the Liverpool Echo.
She said the sight of her enjoying her morning snack infuriated the woman who gave her a piece of her mind.
Writing on Mumsnet, the woman said: "I was on my way to an appointment with the midwife this morning around 10.30am.
"I was running late because I was feeding DD (darling daughter) and didn't have time for any breakfast.
"Left to get the bus and grabbed a pack of salt and vinegar Squares from Sainsbury's and ate it at the bus stop once I had gotten off the bus.
"Minding my business eating my Squares and some woman comes up to me saying 'you shouldn't be eating crisps at this time of the day'.
"I told her I'm pregnant and I'll eat whatever I want when I want. She then said I was rude and unfit to be mum and went about her day.
"AIBU (Am I being unreasonable) in thinking she's actually the rude one coming up to me telling me off as if I'm her five-year-old child."
Mumsnet users agreed the stranger was 'rude'.
One said: "She was being rude and unreasonable. You did nothing wrong.
"If you see her again tell her sharply to mind her own business."
Another wrote: "What is wrong with people?
"Hope you enjoyed your crisps! Love salt and vinegar squares. Disco ones are better though."
A third joked: "Huh? Crisps have time restrictions on them? I never knew that. No monster munch for breakfast anymore then."
And a fourth said: "So random. Why would you say that? You could have just come off a night shift etc not everyone has the same lifestyle.
"I’d have thought crisps at 10.30 were normal? At school in the 80s, we all had a bag at snack time."
