A pregnant woman and her child were among the distressed victims of a brutal gang convicted of carrying out a series of armed raids at several properties.
Lee Hearne, aged 30, Sonny Brogan, 27, and Paul Bray, 33, were found guilty of aggravated burglary charges by a jury on October 4, following a six-week-long trial.
They join a fourth man - 27-year-old Declan Winkles - who admitted to the same offences at an earlier hearing, reports Leicestershire Live.
The jury at Leicester Crown Court found a fifth defendant - Javon Roach, 33 - not guilty.
According to Leicestershire Police, the men forced entry during the burglaries into the properties and threatened their occupants with a variety of weapons including "metal poles, knives and screwdrivers" and assaulted them, including "a pregnant woman and a child".
Several people suffered life-changing injuries at the gang's hands, said the force.
Items stolen in the burglaries included "large amounts of cash, jewellery including two Rolex watches worth over £20,000 and an Audi RS7".
An investigation was launched in December 2020 into a number of aggravated burglaries across the Leicester area.
Inquiries carried out by detectives led to the arrest of the five men, who were all charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary relating to incidents at six properties.
They included raids on premises in Wentworth Road, in Newfoundpool, on December 15, 2020; Evington Lane, Evington, four days later, on December 19; Heawood Way, Thorpe Astley, on December 21, and New Fields Square, Braunstone, on January 5, this year.
The group were also charged with conspiracy to commit burglary at properties in Narborough Road South, on January 4, and Bonville Place, Braunstone, on January 9.
The guilty men are due to be sentenced on Thursday (October 7).
Speaking at the end of the trial, Detective Sergeant Kevin Hames, from Leicestershire Police's Complex Investigation Team, said: "This group were responsible for a series of exceptionally frightening incidents for the occupants of these properties.
"A number of the occupants required hospital treatment and suffered life-changing injuries.
"I would like to personally thank all of the victims of crime who have supported the investigation process and have been exceptionally brave."
He added: "A thank you must also go to the wider communities where these offences took place who have also supported the investigation as without the support we received this result would not have been possible.
"We continue to work extremely hard to keep our communities safe and urge anyone with any concerns to please get in touch. We take action on all reports we receive."
