Five pregnant whales were among 94 of the animals butchered as gruesome pictures show the carcasses cruelly strewn on a beach.
One harrowing image even shows a dead unborn calf inside its dead mother after the whale hunting which reportedly lasted five hours.
Photos of the horrific scenes were taken by environmental campaign group Sea Shepherd UK, who claim this is not the first time this has happened this year.
The killings reportedly happened on the Danish-owned Faroe Islands.

The carcasses appear to have been cut into as photos show slash marks across the body.
Boats had chased the whales during the hunt, the Daily Mail reports.
Their remains were then reportedly dumped into the sea.
