A pregnant teenager has been found dead in a Florida field 1,400 miles away from her Massachusetts home.
Jalajhia Finklea vanished from her home five weeks ago and now her body has been discovered off Route 95 in Fellsmere, Florida.
The man suspected of abducting the 18-year-old was shot dead three weeks ago by US Marshalls in a McDonalds car park.
Police believe that Jalajhia's death was homicide, but they must still officially identify her body and confirm the cause of death.
The Bristol County District Attorney's office said in a statement: "An autopsy will be conducted in Florida to positively identify the deceased and to determine cause and manner of death, which is believed to be homicide."

The last time Jalajhia was seen was when she got into the vehicle with the now deceased suspect, Luis Zaragoza, 37, on October 20 close to her New Bedford home.
It was the night before she turned 18 and Jalajhia was five months pregnant at the time. She disappeared in the middle of having a two-day medical procedure, according to the Boston Globe.
Surveillance footage shows that Jalajhia left her home on the night she vanished without bags.
Zaragoza was shot while officials were trying to arrest him.

The Attorney Office said: "On November 5, US Marshal’s and an assisting Okaloosa County Sheriff’s deputy attempted to arrest the suspect at a McDonald’s parking lot in Crestview, Florida.
"The suspect, who was armed with a handgun, died during a confrontation with police."
In the search after finding the teen's body, detectives discovered the last time she had used her phone had been to call Zaragoza, just before she got into his vehicle. Zaragoza also turned his phone off just after meeting Jalajhia.
He travelled from Massachusetts to Florida, to Texas and back to Florida again.

After Jalajhia had disappeared, her mother, Amanda Costa, had set up a GoFundMe page, explaining she had become really worried for her daughter.
"It's not like our daughter not to call or keep in contact with any of our family," she had said at the time.
A Twitter account was reportedly set up in late October with the name Luis Diamondz sharing photos of Jalajhia and Zaragoza, but it's not clear where the photos were taken.
The Attorney's Office added: "Police have been able to locate surveillance footage from some of the places the suspect travelled to during the course of two weeks, but none of the surveillance shows Ms Finklea."
It is not clear at this stage who the father of Jalajhia's baby was.
Jalajhia was described as being a "bubbly" member of the Mashpee Wampanoag tribe, according to reports.
She often shared her love for dancing and performing on social media.
