Pregnant Stacey Solomon called a ‘beached whale’ by husband Joe Swash as due date looms

Stacey Solomon was playfully called a ‘beach whale’ by her husband Joe Swash after he played a trick on her.

The couple recently announced that they are expecting their third child together, and Joe, 40, certainly seems to be enjoying the third trimester a lot more than the Loose Women star, 33.

Taking to her Instagram story on Friday night, the blossoming mum-of-five to be lay on top of a plush grey bean bag with a fluffy champagne-coloured throw as she played with her adorable toddler Rose, 15 months, as Joe asked her to come and see something on his phone.

Joe said to his wife: "Look at this."

At first, Stacey didn’t seem to seem too fussed, replying: “What is it?”

The former EastEnders actor encouraged their youngest child Rose to ‘get mummy up’ as Stacey was clearly struggling to get off the bean bag.

Although Stacey agreed to check out what Joe was trying to show her, the heavily pregnant media personality ended up rolling on her back as she started to slip down the comfy bean bag.

She quipped: “It’d better be good, completely oblivious to the fact that Joe was filming her the whole time.

Now laughing at herself for her struggle in getting up, Joe responded: “It’s like a bloody beached whale!”

His playful remark left the former X Factor contestant in shock as she quickly rebuked: “Oh my God, shut up.”

Stacey and Joe share Rose, 14 months, and Rex, three, and she is also mum to Leighton, 10 with her ex-partner Aaron Barham and Zachery, 14, with Dean Cox.

Harry has another son, Harry, 15, who he shares with his ex-fiancée Emma Sophocleous.

Stacey also working on her own TV series, Sort Your Life Out.

She told Lorraine: "I have really tidy corners. I cannot do everything at once. It's impossible, unless you've got a week off. I do a cupboard at a time."

"My eldest [child] is happy to live in a pigsty. My middle is really regimented and can't function if things are not the right place. The littlest ones I have to sing the tidy-up song."

"Not everyone wants to be fine and tidy, that's how I function, people ask how I keep things organised - I couldn't have them if I wasn't organised."
