Stacey Dooley shouted her pride for her man Kevin Clifton as she watched him perform on stage in his new show. The former Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer is continuing to flourish in his musical theatre career with a role in the new musical adaptation of Strictly Ballroom.
Kevin, who starred in the hit BBC One dance show from 2013 to 2019, has taken on the role of hero Scott Hastings in the reimaging of Baz Luhrmann's award-winning global film phenomenon. He appears in the show, which is being directed by Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood, opposite Maisie Smith who has taken on the role of enthusiastic beginner Fran.
The nationwide tour kicked off in Plymouth last month before moving on to the Bromley Church Theatre where a press night was held on Wednesday night (October 5). Stacey was among those cheering Kevin and Maisie on. She was joined my Maisie's boyfriend, The Wanted star Max George, and many of the professional dancers from Strictly including Alijaz Skorjanec, Jowita Przystal and Nancy Xu.

Stacey, who is currently expecting her first child with Kevin, took to the red carpet before the show and looked gorgeous as she paraded her blossoming baby bump. The 35-year-old mum-to-be gave a flash of her belly beneath a beautiful soft pink loungewear set.
She donned a pair of matching wide-leg trousers and a wrap-around cardigan for the special event, adding a pair of cream heels and a pale yellow bag. Stacey, who was recently unveiled as Prawn Cocktail on ITV's The Masked Dancer, wore her gorgeous red tresses in a pinned up in a claw clip with her face-framing fringe swept to either side.
After watching the show, Stacey took to Instagram with a video of Kevin and Maisie during the end of their performance. "I've actually had to turn the sound off cos my screaming is so annoying," she confessed.
But she then shared a sweet message to her man and dad-to-be Kevin: "Well done my angel. SO clever."
Stacey announced back in August that she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Kevin.
The couple met in 2018 on the BBC dance contest as Stacey, 35, was paired with professional dancer Kevin. The pair went on to win the 16th series and also fell in love - confirming their romance months after the show ended.
Sharing the news of her pregnancy to her one million Instagram followers last month, Stacey wrote: "We are having a baby! So bloody delighted. Kev, you're magic, I love you. (Was becoming impossible to hide and if one more person asks me if I've had my t*ts done in LA I'm gonna scream). Here goes."
Kevin, 39, responded to his partner with: "Love you". He also posted on his own account - sharing the same picture: "We’re having a baby! And I think my girl @sjdooley looks beautiful pregnant".
The TV presenter is known for her series of documentaries titled Stacey Dooley Investigates on BBC Three where she previous explored social issues concerning child labour and women in developing countries. In 2018 Stacey published her debut book, Stacey Dooley: On the Front Line with the Women Who Fight Back, which became a Sunday Times Bestseller.
