Pregnant mum taken to court after allowing her son, 3, to urinate in car park

A pregnant mum has been taken to court - for allowing her three-year-old son to urinate in a car park.

Brooke Johns was driving with son Cohen in South Carolina, US, when he said he needed the bathroom.

Unfortunately there was nowhere around to stop, but Brooke, 30, knew she had to act when the child told her: "Momma, I'm about to pee in my pants."

When she reached a gas station, Brooke realised she wasn't going to be able to get him inside, WRDW reports.

Brooke, who is due to give birth to her second child next month, told the network: "He was peeing before his pants were even all the way down, so obviously he had to go."

She tried to cover him up as best she could, knowing she wasn't going to be able to get him inside fast enough.

Unfortunately the drama unfolded in front of a Richmond County deputy, who took a dim view of what he saw.

He told her to take Cohen to the bathroom, but she replied: "What if I would have ran in the bathroom and someone had been in there?

"What I was going to let him do? Pee on the floor of the gas station?"

Brooke now faces court on April 30 charged with disorderly conduct, shortly before her second child is due.

A ticket says: "She allowed her male child to urinate in the parking lot. I observed the male’s genitals and the urination. Public restrooms are offered at the location.”
