Many mums will agree that pregnancy is a rollercoaster of emotions.
So being trolled for your weight when nearing your due date is completely uncalled for.
This is what has happened to reality star Lucy Mecklenburgh who is currently expecting her first child with former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas.
The former TOWIE regular has since hit back at the negative comments, which including fat shaming and picking on the beauty spot on her back.
Outing the cruel trolls, Lucy said she wanted to share a few of the "lovely comments" she had received by members of the public.
Posting the screenshots to Instagram, the 28-year-old said: "Yep I have a mole on my back and have gained weight 8 months pregnant just a couple of the lovely comments about me today .. thanks guys [sic] ."
Many of Lucy's celeb pals and fans have offered their support, including Brooke Vincent who gave birth to her first child last year and suffered some of the same abuse as Lucy.
Sharing the post to her own page, the Corrie actress said: "The horrible and worrying thing about this is the fact I wasn't brave enough to address this when I was pregnant and read horrible comments about me.
“I gained a lot of weight pregnant and didn't look half as good as Lucy does!!"
Brooke then added: "So it just goes to show no matter what you look like pregnant there’s always an 'issue' you’re either too small, too fat, too active, not dressed correctly.
"Being in the public eye is sometimes a really daunting place and I'm just so glad that I and Lucy have loving people around us that can pick up the pieces because it could be very dangerous."
She ended the post: "You look fabulous Lucy.." followed by a yellow heart emoji.
Lucy and partner Ryan announced their pregnancy news last August, sharing the emotional moment they revealed the news to Ryan's 10-year-old daughter Scarlett.
Ryan, 35, who played builder Jason Grimshaw on the soap from 2000 to 2016, met Lucy, 28, when they both appeared on Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls in 2017.
The pair got engaged this summer during a picture perfect trip to the Italian cliffside village of Positano on the Amalfi Coast.
