Pregnant Janette Manrara told 'you can't go wrong' as she shares glimpse inside nursery after 'keeping it real'

Janette Manrara has been showered with comments as she gave fans a glimpse inside her unborn child's nursery as she patiently awaits their arrival. The former Strictly Come Dancing star is expecting her first child very soon with her husband Aljaž Škorjanec.

The loved-up couple, who wed in 2007 years before they both joined the BBC One dance show, announced the wonderful news they were expecting back in February with their bundle of joy due this summer. Janette and Aljaz were just about to start IVF treatment when they found out Janette was pregnant.

Mum-to-be Janette has since been sharing updates on her pregnancy on social media and earlier this week let her followers in on her surprise Winnie the Pooh-themed baby shower which was arranged by fellow professional dancer Katya Jones and former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts.

But in her latest update, Janette has shared a look inside her little one's nursery which has been completed ahead of the bundle of joy's arrival. "Had lots of questions about our nursery and what it’s looking like, and sooooo….. here it is! I’m in love with it!" Janette penned alongside a sneak peek of the special room in her and Aljaz's new Cheshire home.

The pair, who recently moved up north ahead of starting their family after spending years living in London, have opted for grey furniture with pops of gold also incorporated onto the cream-based wall behind the baby's cot. They have also chosen beige, textured blackout curtains and neutral-toned soft toys.

“I really wanted it to feel like a calm space, not overwhelming and loud, because the baby is going to sleep there and we’re about to enter this mad chapter of our lives, so I went for natural, neutral colours like beige and grey” Janette, 39, told Hello! magazine.

And as fans probably know, Janette is a Disney superfan and so it may come as no surprise that hints of Disney magic have been dotted around the room. The centrepiece of the room is a grey Disney wall clock depicting the Magic Kingdom and various characters. “A fan of ours gave it to us as a gift years ago and it is such a beautiful piece," Janette told the publication.

As seen in Janette's Instagram snap, portraits of Mickey and Minnie Mouse have also been placed above where their little one will soon be sleeping. "Have a look at @hellomag online for a full video of the nursery! It’s fun, w/ touches of #Disney through out, but also warm and cozy; just how we wanted it to feel and look," she continued on social media.

"Thank you to @mumandme_app for introducing me to @obabyuk. All the furniture pieces are from them, including the rocking chair which is super comfortable! And finally a HUGE thank you to @dove.interiordesign for creating such a beautiful space for our little one. We are in love with it and it’s exactly what we were wanting from this space."

And fans wasted no time in responding. @duke_broc_bow said: "Oh my goodness this is adorable. Strictly will never be the same without you both but this baby is so lucky to have such gorgeous mummy and daddy."

@z.chan16 replied: "It looks incredible! I love the design so much! Love all the Disney details!!!" @strictly_girls_superfan commented: "Omg that is so cute!!" @sandysboxofdelights added: Looks fab. You can never go wrong with a Disney nursery."

Janette also gave an 'exhausted' update (Janette Manrara Instagram)

The glimpse inside the nursery came after a tired Janette appeared on her Instagram Story saying she wanted to 'keep it real' with her 540,000 followers. Speaking to the camera fresh-faced and sporting an oversized Disney tee, she said: "Hi team, I just want to keep it real with you all for a second...

"I've had quite a busy few days, being in London, my surprise baby shower - my mum flew over. It was amazing, she just left this morning - and Morning Live... so it's been a busy few days and honestly I just feel like I've been hit by a truck."

She added: "Normally I can just go but obviously creating life takes up a lot of energy. It really does and all I really want to do is be on the couch and sleep. My back pain has come back and I've got a bit of insomnia so I'm going to listen to my body, listen to this little thing, and just rest... But yeah, I'm exhausted and creating life is exhausting."
