Pregnant Georgia Kousoulou cried at baby scan after doctors warned she's at risk of diabetes

Georgia Kousoulou has admitted she cried at her baby scan after her doctor gave her a worrying update.

The pregnant TOWIE star, 29, went for her 20 week scan this week and she was told her bump is slightly bigger than normal.

She will now have to have diabetic tests to make sure everything is going well in her first pregnancy.

Speaking on her Instagram Story, Georgia said: "It was good but I did have a panic when they said to me the baby's belly was slightly bigger than normal so now I have to go for a diabetic blood test.

"I don't think I have it but they said just to make sure, any midwives out there watching can you please DM me because I don't really know much about it.

"But, yeah, everything else is fine, the baby is healthy.

"I just think I have got a big baby, I was quite big and I think Tommy was too.

"You know when you hear something and you're like what and it freaked me out."

She continued: "I literally cried because I panicked because I didn't know what it meant, you know when you just get overwhelmed and you're like what does that mean?

"It's just scary being a first time mum, you literally don't know anything, or I don't anyway.

"Any little thing I'm like 'What does that mean? Is it what I'm eating? Have I caused this?'"

"But they reassured me that its not what I caused, it can just happen in pregnancies, its quite common. And then I've researched it and placenta causes it, so that makes me feel better I don't think it's about me.

Georgia then joked: "I'm sure the nurse was looking at me like oh my god when i started crying, it got really awkward actually."

It comes after Georgia's boyfriend and baby daddy Tommy Mallet shared their scan photo.

He said: "What a way to end the year!"
