Pregnant EastEnders star Kellie Bright, 44, walks dog after 'miracle' baby announcement

Kellie Bright looked positively blooming, even in the stifling heat, as she walked her family pet dog in Hertfordshire earlier today.

The EastEnders star, 44, kept her cool in the sunshine by wearing a floating, strappy black dress and matching sandals.

She hasn't been seen in public since she announced the happy news of her third "miracle" pregnancy.

The actress plays Linda Carter in the long-running BBC1 soap, and in her latest storyline, her character is also expecting a baby too. Recently, the publican's wife, who is carrying Max Branning's baby, was rushed to hospital.

Kellie is married to Paul Stocker who is several years younger than her. They met when they were working on a play together, and have two sons. Their first boy, Freddy, is nine, and Gene is four.

Kellie announced her second pregnancy straight after she finished on Strictly Come Dancing in 2016. With her pro partner Kevin Clifton, the couple came second in the final, losing out to Jay McGuinness and Aliona Vilani.

Kellie and Paul revealed they'd had a successful round of IVF to conceive Gene, and this pregnancy is a result of a frozen embryo transfer.

She admits that having fertility treatment can be a ‘rollercoaster’. Straight after having Gene, she hinted that he may not be her last baby.

"I don't feel ready to shut the door on motherhood just yet. But if we do have another one, it won't be immediately," she admitted.

Speaking about Gene’s birth, she added: 'It's such a cliché but it really is a love like nothing else. In that moment, you feel like everything you need is right there in that room – apart from Freddy of course.

"I couldn't believe in only seven hours he'd arrived and my whole world had changed again."

Reacting to criticism that she’s too old to be having another baby at 44, Kellie replied:

"First of all, if I was a man having my third child at 44, no one would bat an eyelid. Don't forget my husband is much younger than me.

"He's in his thirties, so he's still running around after the kids, which is great. We met when I was 31 and I didn't want to jump straight into having kids,” she said.

“We had fertility struggles we didn't expect and had to just deal with it.”
