A pregnant driver and her female passenger have died in a crash on a country road in Cambridgeshire yesterday.
Police were called to Ramsey on Sunday at around 11.30am following reports a car had left the road and crashed into a water-filled ditch.
A silver Nissan Qashqai was travelling southbound along Puddock Road when it careered into the ditch, Cambridgeshire Live reports.
Emergency services attended the scene but the driver, a pregnant woman in her 20s and a passenger in her 50s were pronounced dead at the scene.
The road has now reopened.
Police are asking for anyone with information or Dashcam footage to contact the force on 101 quoting incident 142 of June 7.
Police are not in a position to name the victims at this time.
