Pregnant Danielle Armstrong admits she's 'anxious' about giving birth in hospital amid coronavirus

Danielle Armstrong will welcome her first child any day now, but she's admitted she's not looking forward to going into hospital.

The former TOWIE star, 32, took to Instagram to answer her fans questions about her pregnancy on Friday when she was asked about how she felt about being pregnant during the global coronavirus pandemic.

She is currently expecting a baby girl with her fiancé Tom Edney.

Danielle admitted she is feeling a "little bit anxious" about giving birth in such an extrodinary time but has faith that everything will go smoothly.

It came after one fan asked her "Are you scared of going to hospital? x"

She replied: '"I thought this was a good one because I know a lot of mums – or mums-to-be shall I say – are probably feeling a bit anxious right now of going to the hospital and giving birth.

"For me, already if it means that I'm going to be induced it's slightly disappointing because I so thought that I was going to be able to do all this in a natural way.

"You can't really just have this birthing plan in your head because things can change. So with regards to the hospital, I think it is what it is."

Danielle continued: "Like yeah, ideally it's not the best situation because Tom can't be with me until four centimetres and until you're in active labour.

"But the hospitals are amazing and the midwives are amazing.

"I just think everyone I've seen so far, all the staff have been so supportive and have reassured me and you just gotta have faith and just go with it. Because at the end of the day, what else can you do?"

Danielle has revealed she'll be induced over the next few days as her baby is a week late.

She previously told fans she'd been going for walks and had a hot curry, both old wives' tales about how to bring on labour.

The mum-to-be admitted she feels like she's "been pregnant forever".
