Pregnant Dani Dyer says she doesn't want to push baby into reality TV

Pregnant Love Island star Dani Dyer has said that she isn't keen to push her baby into the world of reality TV.

The 24-year-old, who is pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Sammy Kimmence, stepped into the spotlight in 2018 through ITV2's Love Island.

Dani met Jack Fincham on the show, but the pair broke up a year later and she was reunited with old flame Sammy.

Speaking on Lorraine, Dani was questioned by host Christine Lampard whether she would encourage her child to dip their toe into the world of reality TV.

She replied: "I feel like whatever the baby wants to do, it can do now. I would never want to push it into doing reality TV because it is really difficult.

"Even sometimes now I'm like, 'Was that a good idea?' I think whatever it wants to do, it can do. I think it is difficult because I am in that world, so to try and keep it away would be quite difficult.

"But I feel like once it starts talking then I'll definitely know what it wants to do. If it's like me... oh my god!"

Her EastEnders dad Danny broke his silence on her pregnancy earlier this month, berating her for “keeping busy” during lockdown by getting pregnant “instead of reading poetry, building Lego, or doing something creative”.

He probed his daughter: “Was that your whole motivation for getting pregnant? You’ve been not really having sex because you’ve thought, ‘I’ll wait til my dad’s 40’?”

Horrified on the pair’s Sorted podcast, Dani responded: “I’m not talking about my sex life!”

Danny added: “It makes me feel slightly better about my hair thinning and stuff and getting grey in my beard, because if anyone’s got any problem with it I can go, ‘Well, I’m a f***ing grandad’.”
