Catherine wore a floor-length champagne coloured gown, which featured a delicate mesh overlay embroidered with intricate crystals, designed by Eliza Jane Howell.

The plunging gown showed off her baby bump in style, and the stunning star had her brunette locks teased into a loose updo, with diamante earrings to match the detail on her dress.

She also rocked a glamorous make-up look, which featured a slick of black eyeliner, bronze eyeshadow and a dark lip to compliment her stunning gown.

As the former soap star hit the red carpet, in her first public appearance since announcing her second pregnancy, she tenderly cradled her bump as she beamed at the cameras.

Catherine shared details of her look on her Instagram Stories, as she credited her hairdresser Dino Pereira, and stylist Martine Alexander.

She also revealed she had indulged in one of her favourite treats, dinner at the swish Corinthia Hotel in London, hours before attending the annual bash.

Catherine is already mum to son Alfie, six, with husband Tom Pitfield, and the Scarborough star announced her happy news in an interview with Hello! magazine earlier this month.

“We're absolutely elated. We feel so lucky. When we found out, I just burst into tears,” she said, as she and Tom revealed Catherine was pregnant with a bay daughter.

The pregnancy news comes after she candidly shared details of a hormone imbalance which caused her to believe she was pregnant, when in fact she sadly wasn’t.

“I took so many tests as I was convinced I was actually pregnant, but in fact my body was just mimicking a pregnancy,” she explained, adding that she thought she was going through early menopause during the first few weeks.

“I was having terrible insomnia, which is still with me. I was so hot at night and unable to control my temperature,” Catherine shared.

“I started to panic that perhaps I was perimenopausal. I know I would have been a bit young, but it does happen.”

The actress sweetly revealed husband Tom was “in bits” when they found out she was expecting a girl.

“He has suddenly gone all mushy. I'm sure she will have him wrapped around her little finger,” she quipped.
