Pregnant Carley Stenson voiced her concerns her husband Danny Mac could miss their first baby's birth.
The happy couple revealed they were expecting their first baby together in March.
As he approaches becoming a father for the first time, Danny has returned to the stage in The Mousetrap at the West End.
Hollyoaks actress Carley, 38, confessed her nerves about Danny, 33, getting to the birth on time because he's working.
She told Hello! magazine : "I think I will definitely be calmer before the birth than ahead of a first night.
"For some reason I have been feeling really chilled throughout the pregnancy - but I do hope Danny gets there in time."
Danny has returned to work at the West End as The Mousetrap become the first London show to make a comeback.
Theatres everywhere in the UK were forced to close during the coronavirus pandemic national lockdowns.
However, the actor reassured his pregnant wife as he was sure he would be getting off stage as soon as there was news.
Although he did admit he wasn't sure of the official plan when his wife went into labour.
He said: "I'm not sure what the plan is but I imagine it will be to get off stage as quickly as possible!
"I'm approaching becoming a father as an improvised piece - we will just have to hope we get it right! It is going to be a life-changer, the biggest and best job of our lives."
They have been preparing for their new role as parents to their first baby.
Their love story goes way back until they first met on the set of Hollyoaks in 2011.
A decade later, they have been very happy together.
They tied the knot in 2017 and four years later have begun a family together.
