Pregnant Brooke Vincent shed a tear on Tuesday as her son started nursery school.
The Coronation Street star told fans her one-year-old Max had enjoyed himself on his settling in day.
But she couldn't say the same for herself, explaining: "My little sidekick went to nursery today for his first tester day.
"He was so brave, he gave me and his daddy a kiss & waved us off goodbye & off he went.
"Just like that, me on the other hand, I got home and cried into my washing!!"
Brooke, 28, begged fans: "Tell me that’s normal!!"
While the actress clearly missed having her "sidekick" at home with her, she will soon have plenty to keep her hands full.
She and partner Kean Bryan, 24, are expecting their new baby in the spring.
Brooke has decided to keep the baby's sex a secret until he or she is born.
And the actress, who is best known for playing Sophie Webster in Corrie, says she's more excited than nervous about having children under the age of two in her home.
Brooke joined the cast of Corrie as Sophie Webster when she was just 11 years old.
She left the soap in 2019 to go on maternity leave, with her last scenes airing that October.
