A pregnant former beauty queen has died after falling from a wall on the US-Mexico border.
Miriam Estefany Giron Luna, who was just 19, suffered fatal injuries when she fell 22ft.
The mum-to-be, from Guetemala, was attempting to scale the metal wall between Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, and Clint, Texas, when it happened.
She was eight months pregnant when she died on Tuesday.
Tragically doctors were unable to save her child after performing an emergency C-section.
Her partner Dilver Israel Díaz García, 26, alerted Border Patrol agents after seeing her fall.

In a statement US Customs and Border Protection acting commissioner Mark Morgan hit out at smugglers, saying: "The smugglers quickly left them alone, fading off in the darkness, leaving them to make the final legs of the journey by themselves.
"As they attempted to climb the wall, the husband could do nothing but watch as he saw his pregnant wife fall to the ground."
His statement continued: "This is absolutely tragic. But what is also part of the tragedy is what’s preventable. Do not listen to the smugglers.


"They do not care about you. They will abuse you and they will leave you behind to die. That is the truth. Those are the facts."
Guatemalan consular official Tekandi Paniagua told the Washington Post that immigration restrictions put in place by Donald Trump has led to people taking more risks.
He said: "This is a very worrisome trend.
"People are taking more and more risks, and they're losing their lives."
Donald Trump has claimed that building the wall will stop the spread of coronavirus in the USA.
There are currently many more cases in the USA than in Mexico.
