Here we go again. It’s the penultimate College Football Playoff rankings which means it’s a pretty dang important one. If you aren’t positioned in a good spot Tuesday evening, it’s going to be awfully tough to get into the four-team “playoff” (I mean, is it really?).
Since the College Football Playoff committee delayed the release of the initial rankings, there wasn’t a whole lot of time for jostling and positioning for teams anyhow. At this point, There are really just five teams vying for the top four spots without mass chaos ensuing — or unless the committee falls in love with an SEC team for stereotypical reasons.
Each week, we take a stab at predicting what the top ten will look like because — well, let’s be honest, that’s all we really care about anyhow.
So … here is our gaze into the crystal ball on what the top ten of the CFP rankings will be Tuesday evening.
