Predicting the Steelers starting defensive lineup for Week 1 in 2020

The Pittsburgh Steelers and the rest of the NFL seem to be pushing forward with a season. There will be rules and there will be limitations but there will still be football. At least that’s what we are counting on. In pouring over the Steelers roster, we’ve decided to put together our prediction for what the Week One starting lineup on defense will look like.

The Steelers defense returns for 2020 largely intact. Defensive tackle Javon Hargrave headed off to the Philadelphia Eagles and inside linebacker Mark Barron was released. Tyson Alualu isn’t an ideal fix at nose tackle but he’s the most experienced and talented player left among the group. With Barron gone, Vince Williams should slide back into starting spot in the middle next to Devin Bush.

Check out our list and let us know what your projected starting lineup looks like and it is different than this one.
