The Pittsburgh Steelers will play their first preseason game of the year on Friday. Ahead of this, the team should release an official depth chart. Pittsburgh is notorious for maintaining the status quo when it comes to giving veterans preference on paper even if we all know this isn’t how the games will go.
But could this season be different with so much young talent on the roster? We will find out for sure when the team releases their official depth chart but for now, here is our attempt at a prediction of what it’s going to look like. We assume linebacker Devin Bush will nab a starting inside linebacker spot but we won’t be shocked if head coach Mike Tomlin defers to a veteran on paper only to give Bush the reps.
