WWE Survivor Series is this weekend, and War Games is the centerpiece yet again. We used WWE 2K25 to predict every match on the card. Will there be any surprises, and how will John Cena fare when defending the Intercontinental Title?
Women’s World Title – Stephanie Vaquer (c) Vs Nikki Bella

Vaquer dominates the pace early. This makes sense, given that she is the rising superstar in her prime, while Bella is the legend challenging for the belt. The two trade submission holds in the middle of the match, with both escaping. Vaquer attempts high-risk offense from the top rope, and Nikki Bella is able to turn the tide with a reversal. In a shocker, Bella hits the Bella Buster and pins Stephanie Vaquer to become the new Women’s Champion.
This result is highly unlikely, but it would provide the kind of surprise that sets the tone at the opening of the show.
Nikki Bella defeats Stephanie Vaquer via pinfall at 8:44.
Men’s Intercontinental Championship – John Cena (c) vs Dominik Mysterio

Cena opens with the typical John Cena power moves. Dom survives the early attacks — maybe due to the toughness he got from doing hard time — and is able to start getting some offense in. Cena rallies because, I mean, c’mon. Have you seen a Cena match? The five moves of doom are unleashed to put Dirty Dom away, but Mysterio kicks out! After countering Cena and performing a 619 like no one else could ever do, Dom hits the frog splash and pins John Cena to regain the Intercontinental Championship.
This is exactly what’s going to happen on Saturday, but it was a massive WWE 2K25 upset. John Cena is 10 overall points higher rated than Dominik Mysterio, so Dirty Dom coming out on top was a surprise. But in Cena’s second-to-last match, he’s going to put over the rising star.
Dominik Mysterio defeats John Cena via pinfall at 9:18.
Women’s War Games Match

WWE 2K25 only allows 4v4 Survivor Series matches, so AJ Lee and Lash Legend are sitting out this simulation. The match opens with Iyo Sky and Becky Lynch. The two top-tier superstars trade offense, waiting to see which team will have the advantage. It turns out that it’s the faces, as Rhea Ripley is the next to the cage. Ripley and Sky combine to wear Becky Lynch down with some power attacks across both rings.
Asuka joins the fray to help the heels. She quickly squares off with Iyo Sky — a realistic possibility considering their feud. Alexa Bliss is the next into the match. As an aside, this is where WWE 2K25 gets weird with multi-superstar matches. There are multiple wrestlers just kind of standing around right now. The game struggles when there are an odd number of competitors that cannot pair off.
Kairi Sane is here to fix that problem, though. And hey, the action is finally moving to the other ring. Charlotte Flair is here now, she’s getting in some really good offense on Asuka. Nia Jax is finally here, which means the War Games match is officially underway.
Iyo Sky hits a nice top rope move on Kairi Sane, but can’t get the pinfall. Nia Jax is annihilating everything in her path. Charlotte has a chair, so the weapons are here. She gets a couple of shots on the heels in before Asuka disarms her.
But while Rhea Ripley is climbing high on the cage to hit devastating offense, Kairi Sane sneaks a pin onto a hurt Alexa Bliss, and the heels win.
The heel team wins via pinfall at 15:47.
Men’s War Games Match

Again, WWE 2K25 only allows 4v4 War Games matches, so Jimmy Uso and Brock Lesnar are sitting out. Also, I don’t have the Farewell Edition that includes Lesnar.
The match begins with Roman Reigns and Logan Paul trading blows. Logan Paul earns the edge in the fight, but the faces have the advantage, and CM Punk is next to the ring. Punk and Reigns combine for a lot of damage on Logan Paul, which will make no one sad. But just when watching Paul get kicked around is really getting fun, here comes Bron Breakker. He comes in looking to deal out punishment, but is met by an ambush spear courtesy of the Tribal Chief.
Jey Uso yeets his way to the ring and immediately grabs a chair. They’re all using the chair on Logan Paul. That’s fun. Drew McIntyre arrives to help Breakker, who was essentially on his own at that point. Bron is now cleaning house, and Logan Paul has found his second wind. Just when the heels are starting to turn the tide, Cody Rhodes is unleashed on the ring to set things right.
Rhodes and Reigns team up on Bron Breakker, hitting some cool combo moves. But Bronson Reed is here to save his Vision teammate, and the War Games match is underway. After some incredible offense all around the ring, Jey Uso pins Logan Paul to get the win for the faces.
The face team wins via pinfall at 17:12.
